Brian Wang

Brian Wang is VP of Investments at The Collective, a global, growing network of co-living communities. Brian is responsible for driving U.S. pipeline growth.

Brian sources debt and equity capital investments to drive each stage of The Collective’s vertically integrated growth model — from site acquisition to development to long-term community and asset management.

In addition, Brian assesses regions and specific sites throughout the U.S. that can support and advance the company’s pioneering co-living thesis, which is built on a criteria platform of scale to support robust community growth and space for shared amenities.

Previously, Brian worked in the principal investment arm of Macquarie Group, making special situations investments across the capital stack. Before that, he worked in the real estate investment banking division of Robert W. Baird.

Brian graduated from NYU Stern with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics. He’s a Georgia native, fluent in Mandarin, and currently based in New York City. Brian joined The Collective with an ambition to add fun and purpose to the world of investing, which he achieves by playing a fundamental role in the creation of co-living spaces, purpose-built to enable people to lead more fulfilling lives.
