Alison Novak

Alison Novak joined Hudson in 2006, where she oversees mixed-income and market-rate developments as well as Hudson’s middle-income equity fund. Under her leadership, Hudson launched its commitment to green building. Alison has overseen the acquisition, design, financing, construction, and completion of a wide range of housing developments ranging from affordable to high-end, home ownership to rental, single-family to high rise. Prior to joining Hudson, Alison was with the San Jose Redevelopment Agency, the City of Alameda, the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, and Lesley University’s real estate division. Alison sits on the boards of the Osborne Association, Recycle-A-Bicycle (chair) and Women in Housing and Finance (president), all New York City-based non-profits. Alison was named one of the “Top 15 Women in Real Estate” in 2015. She is a member of the 21st cohort of Coro Leadership New York. Alison received a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Grinnell College, and a Master of City Planning and Master of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT.
